The team named Domo
arigato was firstly founded on 2018 consisting of the 4 young engineering students named Tahmim Hossain, Ettilla
Mohiuddin Eumi, Md Faysal Ahamed, Moloy Kumar Ghosh along with their adviser madam named Tasnim Binte Shawkat, Assistant professor, . The project was firstly basically to make a car which will go to a disaster
area and monitor the specific disaster area so that the authority could take the necessary. In the first version of the robot car, it was controlling through the Bluetooth or the TX RX module where it has the limitations that could control only within
1km radius. It was also built on a project board which was too much hazardous of the connection. To overcome the first version the team developed a robot car which was their own custom PCB design. This is how to overcome the hazardous wire problem.
Also the team developed the car as all of the monitoring system and also the controlling system could be done through the Internet. This became a Iot based project. Many features has also been included. On July 2019, the team participated in Technocracy
2019 which help the team to get a selected to participate in IEEE YESIST12, Thailand. Tahmim Hossain along with his extra team mate Md Khalid Syfullah went to Thailand on 5th September, 2019. The Program was two days-long which held on
07-08 September, 2019 at Stamford University, Hua-Hin, Thailand. Total five judges came to them and the team had successfully able to present their projects to the judges which leads them to Most Popular Award - IEEE YESIST12 Maker Fair
Track, Thailand . 80-90 teams around the world participated there. Prof. Dr. Shamim Anwar, Head of department of ECE, RUET & Tasnim Binte Shawkat, Assistant Professor, department of Electrical & Computer Engineering (ECE), RUET were
also present with them.
